Ark downloading mod stuck

The settings window will open, there click the tab "Downloads". At the bottom you should have a checkbox named "Allow downloads during gameplay" which needs to be checked for ark (and other games) to be able to download mods e.t.c. while the game is running. Okay, so I got the steam version of ark just today, and decided to download some mods, one of which is Structures Plus. I've been waiting for more than 20 minutes now, and it's still stuck on "Installing 1 mods (Structures Plus)".  · If you encounter the download stuck when you are trying to get an update, the best solution is to restart the Steam client and download that update again. #2 .
